Community Service

A law school dean once said that a lawyer is “either a social engineer or a parasite on society“. He further stated that a “social engineer is a sentinel guarding against wrong“. For a quarter of a century the attorneys at Drake, Hileman and Davis, have been sentinels for society by guarding against wrongs. While sometimes this involves taking the most powerful of interests to court, other times it may simply be accomplished by donating our time and resources to organizations within our community. To this end, our attorneys have and continue to serve on the boards of local non-profit organizations; as coaches to our community sports teams; and by providing legal services and monetary donations to help those that are uniquely positioned to help others. Listed below are some of the recipients of our charitable giving:
